Milkweed plants are a great addon to your garden, especially if you live in the Monarch Migration Path. These tall and beautiful weeds are a host to Monarchs, and Queen Butterflies.

Swamp Milkweed grows in USDA Zones 3-8, and can grow up to 6 feet. Watch out for Monarch and Queen caterpillars eating the flower buds of the Milkweed before and after they bloom. Growing Swamp Milkweed is easy; you should plant it in clay/silt soil with partial to full sun, and medium to wet moisture.
