Milkweed plants are a great addon to your garden, especially if you live in the Monarch Migration Path. These tall and beautiful weeds are a host to Monarchs, Queens, and Soldier butterflies.

Common Milkweed grows in USDA Zones 4-9, and can grow up to 7 feet if not trimmed back. Watch out for Monarch caterpillars eating the flower buds of the Milkweed. Growing Common Milkweed is easy; you should plant it in well-drained soil with partial to full sun.
